Plantar warts, commonly known as "blackheads", are viral infections caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
The entry of this virus occurs through small cracks or lesions in the skin of the foot. After entry, they inoculate in the form of a capsule with a thick wall which in areas of contact remain inside, increasing in size, causing pain and discomfort.
